Lanzarote Airport Information

As one of the busiest airports in the Canary Islands, César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport serves approximately eight million passengers each year. With a wide range of airlines offering international and inter-island flights, the airport is an essential hub for connecting tourists and residents. To help you locate the correct Terminal, please note that Terminal 1 is for all international and national flights. However, Terminal 2 is for flights between the other Canary Islands.

Situated on the island’s eastern coast, just three miles from Arrecife centre, the airport’s close proximity to the coast offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from its runways and terminals.

Lanzarote Airport offers a range of services to passengers, including duty free shops, WiFi, restaurants, car rental facilities located in the arrivals area of the Airport terminal T1.

E-gates at the airport

Upon arrival, you must present your passport to staff at the border control desks. (Ensure that your passport is valid for at least three months.) If you are directed to use the new e-gates, please ensure that you get your passport stamped by border officers.

Car parking facilities are available for those being picked up or dropped off at the airport. Drop-off is available outside of the terminal for departures.

Unlike the island of Tenerife, Lanzarote has just one airport on the east of the island. This official name is César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport, also referred to as Arrecife Airport. When searching for flights to Lanzarote, the Airport Code is: ACE

Airport Tourist Information Office

Located on the first floor of Terminal 1, within the airport’s arrival hall, the tourist office can provide bus timetables, guide maps, and information on all festivals during your stay in Lanzarote. Before you leave the Airport, find out about any promotions or discounts available for tourist attractions. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
